The racecourse lies just outside the southwestern edge of the town, near the junction of the A689 and the A177. Free parking is available.

By Rail:
To Stockton-on-Tees or Durham, 9 and 12 miles away respectively.

By Air:
Helicopter landing at the course by prior arrangement only.
